Many years ago, I found a super easy recipe for making homemade chicken noodle soup. In a desire to modify this tasty recipe to make it noodle free, yet still hearty, in place of the noodles I used kale. As a kale lover, this quickly became one of my favorite soups! If you aren’t a kale lover, it works well with fresh spinach, also.
You can say I have become a salsa snob! Ever since I started making my own salsa about 5 years ago, I no longer buy salsa at the grocery store nor like the taste of them. Homemade is so easy to make and tastes incredible and fresh.
Try replacing your store bought salsa with this homemade version. I think this will become your go-to salsa.
I can't recall the first place I tried a curry chicken salad- it was at a deli spot, Whole Foods, or Trader Joes- but I immediately like it and tried to figure how to create my own healthy version without mayonnaise.
This is the recipe that came about. A big hit, I must say. It doesn't last long in my house.
